Each GreenFree voucher entitles two golfers to play for the price of one at any of the participating golf courses in the GreenFree promotion.

How does the GreenFree 2 for 1 voucher work?

To obtain the complimentary green fee a valid GreenFree voucher, completed with the personal contact details of the voucher holder and guest must be presented along with the balance of the two for one green fee. Both golfers must tee-off together based on the standard, adult, and visitor green fee rates.

Is there a limit to how many vouchers I can buy?

There is no maximum limit imposed on how many vouchers you can purchase

– What is the maximum amount of people that can use a 2 for 1 voucher in one booking?

Two vouchers must be presented for golfers to play in a four ball and so on up to a maximum of 8 golfers.

How do we go about booking a tee time with the intention of using a GreenFree 2 for 1 voucher?

GreenFree vouchers are only valid if the golfer adheres to the following set booking procedure -
- (i) Telephone the golf club in advance
- (ii) Declare intention to use a GreenFree Voucher
- (iii) Make tee-time reservation

Can I use my voucher at anytime 7 days a week?

All tee times are subject to availability and restrictions of each individual course.

Do I require a handicap to play a course?

Certain golf clubs as detailed in the Course Directory may require a current handicap certificate or impose other restrictions (such as specified times or days when the two for one green fee offer is valid) which must be adhered to in order to play the course.

Can I use my GreenFree 2 for 1 voucher as part payment of my green fee?

GreenFree vouchers are for casual play only and not valid for substitute or part payment for any society/corporate bookings of more than 8 golfers. Any exceptions to this rule are at the complete discretion of the golf club and require the express agreement of the Golf Manager at the time of booking.

What if my GreenFree 2 for 1 voucher is declined with a participating course?

Occasionally a new or temporary member of the pro shop staff may be unaware of the GreenFree arrangement. As such you should ask them to consult the golf club manager for clarification.

Is there an age restriction for people using a GreenFree 2 for 1 voucher

GreenFree voucher applicants must be aged 18 or over. It is at the discretion of each participating course whether or not they permit any junior green fee rate to be applied to the GreenFree terms.

Are there any rules to abide by when using the vouchers?

Voucher users have the responsibility to be aware of and abide by the rules of golf as laid out by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, the local rules of the golf club and proper golf etiquette (both on and off the course). Proper dress code must be observed at all times. Golfers should check same upon booking.

How long are my vouchers valid for?

We endeavour to supply all customers with vouchers that at least carry a 6 month validity window. From time to time we may run certain promotions with partners which have a shortened validity period. In all cases we ask that you check the relevant promotion or source of purchase to ensure you are aware as to when your GreenFree vouchers expire.
