Description: Athy Golf Club was formed in 1906 as a 9 hole course and was extended to 18 holes in 1993. Further modifications took place in 2003 and it now extends to 6500 yards from the blue tees. The parkland course is well drained by the River and the latter is now a major feature of the course.
