Description: The holes made good use of the terrain and although the fairways are generous a driver is not always the best option. The 2nd nine is the more challenging particularly the last 5. Big hitters standing on the 14th may think at under 500 yards it is reachable in 2 but the 2nd part of the hole rises sharply. Choice of club at the downhill short 15th is very tricky and water awaits a misjudgement. The 16th and 17th at well over 400 yards are a challenge with the second shot to the 17th over water made more challenging by out of bounds only 10 yards left of the green. The 18th is shorter but tighter from the back tee. Anyone finishing with 5 pars has had a really good round.

Course Review

Course: The Kent & Surrey Golf & Country Club Golf & Country Club

Date: 26/10/2011

Being over 30 years old, this should be one of the best courses in West Kent. It isn't! Lack of care and attention over the years has left this very well designed course with poor greens, really poor bunkers and extremely poor drainage. The £10 they charge for a twilight fee is about all that it's worth. Can someone please rescue it.
