Heron's Reach never disappoints. As the trees have grown, it has developed into a very attractive parkland course which abounds with a wide variety of wildlife. The greens, which remain in play throughout the winter, are the envy of other local golf courses. Heron's Reach also allows play on the fairways throughout the year, whilst protecting them by banning all but hedgehog wheels in winter. Blackpool is often breezy, and this really adds to the challenge, so don't get complacent. Played into the wind, the three closing holes have ruined many a good card.
