Anglesey Golf club is certainly worth a visit. It is the only links course on the island and with no trees and only 21 bunkers you would think it was a easy. Beware, especially if the wind blows. The three par threes under the bridge can require a wedge or a driver depending upon the wind speed. You need to know that sheep periodically occupy the fourteen holes on the main common, despite ample acreage elsewhere on the common land that the course uses. You also need to know that RAF Valley is adjacent which is great if you are interested to see and hear the Hawk jet trainers and the Air Sea rescue and training helicopters, which constantly train on the common land next to the course.
