Description: Nestling in the hills of the Renfrewshire/North Ayrshire Border, Skelmorlie is noted for the beautiful views of the Firth of Clyde. Originally opened in 1891 and redesigned in 1910 by the legendary James Braid, it took another 85 years for the course to be extended to eighteen holes from its orignal thirteen. Some long par fours and challenging par threes make this a challenging "beat".
